Sarah is a writer based in Toronto. She writes about film, culture, politics, and art. Her writings have appeared in NOW Toronto, Hyperallergic, The Daily Star, Spring Magazine, Wear Your Voice, Directed by Women, and her first Bangla-English translation was published in Harf: A Journal of South Asian Studies.

She is the co-host of Spring Radio, a monthly podcast by Spring Magazine.

She previously worked as a fact-checker for HELLO! Canada, and as a pre-screener for various film festivals including Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival, the largest Asian film festival in Canada.
